Two students’ groups from India win NASA’s Human Exploration Rover Challenge

NASA Challenge 2022

NASA has announced the winners of the Human Exploration Rover Challenge 2022 during a virtual award ceremony on 29th April 2022. NASA conducted the 2022 challenge virtually. High school and college teams competed in multiple design, documentation, and presentation categories, including the safety award, project review award, and many more. The award was presented in nine different categories. 

Two groups from India won this challenge in two different categories. 

Group 1: Decent Children Model Presidency School, High School division, Punjab, India, won in the STEM Engagement Award Category. 

Group 2: Vellore Institute of Technology, College/university division, Vellore, India, won in the Social Media Award Category.

High school and college students from the U.S. and all around the world have participated in this challenge. This year, the challenge involved 91 teams, including 58 colleges and 33 high schools.
