A Letter of Intent (LOI) is signed between the University of Wollongong (UOW) and Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) in the presence of GIFT City officials, UOW Brand Ambassador Adam Gilchrist and other officials.
UOW will be the first Australian University to have a physical teaching base in India.
The University plans to open in early September 2023 and aims to focus on finance, business and STEM undergraduate programmes.
The University will offer scholarships to two exceptional students to study a course in Australia. The applications will open in May 2023.
