Delhi schools to focus more on competency-based teaching

The Directorate of Education (DoE), Delhi government, has instructed the government and private schools to have at least 40% of competency-based questions in the question papers. 

There will be 40% competency-based questions for classes III to IX and 30% in class XI.

The questions will be increased from the coming mid-term, pre-board and annual examinations. 

Besides competency-based assessment, the course curricula will also emphasize Deshbhakti, Happiness and Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum (EMC), which was introduced recently by the state government.
